- 1 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1 cup sunflower seeds
- 50 ml rice malt syrup
- 50 g chocolate (optional)
Instructions
- Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Mix pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and rice malt syrup together using a wooden spoon in a bowl until thoroughly combined.
- Transfer into a lined baking tray and press down into a 2-3cm (1 inch) thick layer.
- Bake for 15 minutes at 180C (350F) degrees.
- If using chocolate, melt the chocolate in a small jar in the microwave (~1 min) and then drizzle over the seed bar once it comes out of the oven.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes before placing in the fridge for a further 45 minutes before cutting into squares.
Notes
Omit the chocolate for a kids’ lunch-box friendly snack.
