- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp milk
- 0.1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 slices wholegrain bread
- 1/2 banana, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup berries (any kind)
- 1 tbsp crushed nuts or seeds
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk egg, milk and cinnamon.
- Coat each slice of bread in egg mixture.
- Heat a pan over medium-heat, add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and pan-fry for 2-3 minutes on each side or until lightly golden.
- Serve with banana, berries and nuts. Drizzle with optional honey and enjoy!
Notes
Gluten free option: Use gluten-free bread. Keep french toast, berries, banana, nuts and honey seperate if meal prepping for the week.
