- Yield: 4 1x
Ingredients
Units
Scale
- 1/2 head cauliflower, cut into small florets
- 3/4 cup cup corn flour
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1 tbsp lemon herb garlic seasoning
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds, to sprinkle
- 5 ml olive oil cooking spray
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves to serve
Instructions
- Combine flour and milk in a bowl and whisk well with a fork to make a smooth batter. On a separate plate , combine breadcrumbs, seasoning and sesame seeds.
- Dip the cauliflower florets into the batter, allowing any excess batter to drip off and then immediately into the breadcrumb mixture and combine until it is well coated and then place into the air-fryer. Repeat the process until all cauliflower has been crumbed and then spray a little bit of olive oil onto the cauliflower pieces that are in the air-fryer.
- Cook for 18 minutes on 190c/374f. Once cooked, place the cooked cauliflower into a dish and drizzle with the teriyaki sauce and garnish with coriander leaves to serve.
Notes
- This serves 4 as a side or snack.
- If you don’t have an air-fryer you can cook these at 220c/392f in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Plain flour will also work instead of cornflour – although may not get as crispy.
- Gluten-free option: use gluten-free oat flour instead of cornflour and gluten-free crushed quick oats instead of the bread crumbs. Use gluten-free Teriyaki sauce.
